Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG is on their site ready to configure, decked out, the car gets up over $200,000 - and in Reno, another $15,000 for sales tax.

Wow, that is a hell of a car. I want bad.

The one in front of the front wheel? If that is what you are talking about, I agree - but it obviously is critical to the car, probably cooling (exit vent?)

600hp!??!?! WTF!

They could have done better than that! A twin turbo v12 that only puts out 604hp?? I mean.... the 738 ft/lbs of torque is insane..... but I would expect a little more from a V12TT

but why the fuck would they? 600hp is enough for a $200K luxury car. I'm sure you buy that car and spend a couple G's and you have another 100 hp easy.

Remember, the engine can put out over 850 pounds of torque...but they limited it because the tranny would die sooner.

Don't think for a second there are not a few hundred ponies waiting to be released.

Despite what MB says, Car & Driver tested the SL600's 0-60 time at 3.6 seconds!!! This car might be able to beat the FERRARI ENZO to 60 MPH!!!

This guy at my work bought one before they left the building.... he used to do big ol' spins and burnouts in the back parking lot when he first got it.. hehe.... crazy ass biotch.

Actually, they say the Enzo is a pretty easy to car to drive around in day to day business. The only thing that would suck is the ground clearance.
