This thing is embarrassing but has some pretty decent features. It’s been jerryrigged (YKWIM just keepin it PC here folks LoL) like I’ve never seen before! Anywhoot my bf was messin around under the hood- always a bad idea- obviously as you can tell, since it’s me here looking to y’all for some guidance. Grew up in a shop but on account of my not having a vein to drain I only ever really did bodywork n basic maintenance with the men in the family handling the nittygritty. Unfortunately my Pops and brother both passed about a year ago within the same week so now I have nobody to cry to when ish hits the fan. I’m entirely capable but these damn nails get in the way sometimes! Thank you for your interest in playing captain saveahoe, much appreciated! Here’s the dilemma;
the bf disconnected a wire in the box pictured that shdnt have ever even happened to begin with, and now engine won’t turn over. Not even with starter fluid and jumper cables! Wants to tho? The force is strong in this one! But I’m guessing that wire is the culprit. It’s either a relay or a sensor I’m guessing? Anyone able to point out from where to where this wire needs to be rerun just so I can get this ole pileofshit to turn over again? Pretty please? Thanks in advance!

That port is for diagnostic purposes. If the check engine light was on, you install a jumper across terminals T & E1, turn the key to the ON position, and count the blinks of the light to get the error codes per this.

If a wire is pulled out of that connector, it wouldn’t cause any functional issues. I don’t see a pulled out wire in your pics.
