Does anybody know if on a USA built 07 camry the information from the mesenger center can be changed to Kilometers and also the temperature information from the center console ????

I may sale the car overseas, but I need to know if the info can be changed..

PS: I used to have an Honda CBR f4i and pushing a conbination of buttons I was able to change the info to kilometers and celcius..

On my 05 i am able to change to Celsius. But i think that you need a whole new Gage cluster to convert it from miles to kilometers. Not to mention, the steering wheel might be on the wrong side of the car. LOL

Don't know...my Buick Park Ave has that ability. It is fun to hit that button to see -50 C. hehe And to see the speedometer jump up to the max...

Good question...I'll bet it is programable.

This car would be going to South America, so no problem with the stering wheel. I'll try to call a couple of dealers, I may find one that really knows if it can be done, without making mayor changes....

I'd call a dealer in Ontario, perhaps Windsor or another city very close to the border. I'd wager that quite a few cars cross going north and people ask about this. If it can be done, a Canadian Toyota dealer will know how.

I would bet that it can be done quite easily by the dealer using the programming tool. A friend of mine just bought a BMW SUV in California and brought it back to Canada and had the dealer make that exact change. Took 5mins.

I think it is possible because when I was looking for a camry here in Czech republic, I tested one that came from Canada, but originally from US, so it had the speedo in Miles but the air con was changed in Canada to Celsius

so it is possible

I just don't know how....

That would be wonderfull to me. I drive a 2007 camry here in Holland and use a converter program on my pda for the miles / kilometer and fahrenheid/celcius. I would be very thankfull for a possibility.

My "dealer" has been trying for 3 months to get an interior replacement part for my 2007 50th anniversary that they say Toyota never made, so I wouldn't hold your breath.
