I think the mesh on the grill is black.

Grille is black, mesh is whatever color it came in (silver-ish). There's closeups on my cardomain site.

I was going to make my grill this weekend, but when I went to Home Depot they didn't have any mesh. Weird.

Man, I can never get mine to smoke (not that I try often). Do you just E-brake and floor it?

Haha, neither could I! It rained like hell last night, so I found a small puddle in the parking lot today and rested the front tires in there. Then held the brakes, rev'd to about 2k rpm, and let go brake/floor gas It's my greatest accomplishment with the Camry in a long time.

biggest one i remember doin was at night when i wanted to show off a little to this Commodore (shitty aussie car... the enemy) and to my suprise i made a mountain of smoke from both front tyres... the faces of the drivers from the cars behind sed it all. its a manual so it always loses grip anyway

yeah we did that yesterday... it was great fun...
the 2 pics are from 2 different burnouts, as you can see by the way the stripes are... We tried to find bleach (to put on tires/roll through) to make a more impressive smoke show, but couldnt find any and didnt really wanna buy any.
