Hi new guy squeeky here.
I have a question for you guys.I am pulling the motor out of my 87 runner,the chiltons i am using as a guide says I have to pull the trans. Is this true?

I rarely pull both. Just make sure you have the transmission blocked up so it doesn't fall when you separate them.

No, you don't have to pull the trans.
