I have a 09 highlander hybrid that recently died on me slowly and completely stalled due to the extreme cold on the highway this is the second time the first tine was a year ago I try starting up but the regular motor won’t stay on and the Check hybrid system and brake system alert came on I jump start it the correct way and replaced the 12 volt battery and the motor still doesn’t stay on anyone have a clue on how to fix this thanks

I would think there would be some codes to work with. Sounds like something in the fuel management system, coolant temp. etc. I would check coolant level, might be air in the system, thermostat not working, etc Thinking throttle body or map sensor iced up? Just trying to help out, not an expert on these for sure. Hopefully get it in a warm garage and clear ECM.

You'd need to get the codes if nothing jumps out as not right. Its a complex system and without detailed history even a guess isn't possible.
