You can only vent the OEM valve if you have gotten rid of the AFM.

Quite frankly I enjoy the sound of the OEM BPV recirculted to an aftermarket intake.

Nice and quiet when you dont wanna hear it, but still nice when build some boost...

that will not replace your AFM...only a vpc or going with an EMS will.....


as for BOV.....i love the sound of my HKS SSQ...i'm so glad i switched from the greddy type S.....turns quite a few heads while driving.....

I've got the greddy type S and don't really have a problem with it. I was told that it is the most reliable aftermarket bov because of the internal components but who knows. I am happy with it.

i was reading somewhere that running an aftermarket bov or venting to the atmosphere without the vpc would cause the engine to run rich after it blows off.

ceracer33, that is correct. Buyimng a full EMS can correct that as well.

josephah2000, the best performing valve you can have is the OEM or the HKS unit that copies the OEM design.

It will cause the car to run rich UNLESS yoiu reroute it back into the intake. The HKS can be set up either way vent to atmosphere or recirculate.
