MR2 S/C manual transmission question

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could help me out with this. I have an '88 MR2 S/C (4A-GZE) and I am trying to figure out which manual transmission I have? It says in the factory manual that there are two types for that model/engine, those being the C52 and the E51. I was imagining that one is the type with the factory limited-slip and one is not, but even if that is the case, I am not sure which one is which. Just wondering because I wanted to change my transmission fluid and wanted to know how much I need, because its says the C52 takes 2.7 quarts and the E51 takes 4.4 quarts. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks guys!

doesnt matter

hey man if you have ever changed a manual transmision fluid you shoul know that you cant go over the fluid that your transmision needs. you just have to top it and thats how much it needs.if you need info on how to, just let me know.
care to take a pic of where the drive shafts bolt to the box or where the speedo cable goes onto the box...
it's an E51. if you go over the limit of capacity, the transmission will puke, i mean spray it out of the vent.
Thanks

Just wanted to say thanks for the input, guys!

doh! to me. it even said '88 gze in the 1st post.

i always fill from the top of the box, so knowing how much to put in helps. :)
yep! i use the plug next to the vent.

p.s. it's all good, john! merry belated Christmas/holidays to ya!
