It was just a thought because my friend got into an accident and for some reason they're getting him a new muffler (he was going to give me his old one) its off a 03 Maxima SE... Yea I don't know yet I probably won't because I hate all the Civics in town with the huge ass mufflers... I'd rather not my Camry sound like a screaming child if I accelerate hard.

since either way you have to weld, buy 4 flanges and a gasket. weld a flange onto the stock pipe, then one on each option(stock muffler, maximas muffler and straight pipe) and then you can choose which one you like best. that way, you have an interchangable exhaust and you can change it to best fit your needs. if you wanna go to the track or just drive around, 2 bolts to change it from raging hell beast back down to totally silent and stock.

I know its hard, but avoid the temptation to do either of those... I almost bought a generic weld a can from a friend for 20 bucks when i was in eleventh grade... you want it then, but wait a couple years and you will see the error in your ways

its still up to you, but personally I would keep it stock for now.

yeah, or you can do it my way, and then if you dont like it you just bolt back up the stock muffler and be done with it. i say why not try it if its free, and flanges are 5 bucks a piece from napa. that way you can practice welding while your at it.

^true but its a lot of work when you know that either option results in having a piece of shit and most likely obnocious exhaust note

From looking at your guy's cars... I think I'll keep take your advice and keep it stock for now... If I have the urge I think I'll do what Stonegrave said and weld the flanges on... My dad just got a welder and he just bought a box full of tips... I kinda want to try it out hehe
