NEW PICS AND VIDEO ARE ON PAGE 24

So I noticed a few people who do a lot of work to their rides, actually had their own thread up here. Considering everything I am doing to this baby, I figured I would do the same. I have been a camry owner for years and absolutely loved my 1994 Camry Coupe.

Eventually though it got to be time to upgrade to a new model. I ended up with a 2007 Toyota Camry SE V6!

When I first bought my baby, she looked like this:

Obviously I had to start mods right away...So far here is what has been done:

-K&N Cold Air Intake (CAI)with dry air filter from tomo racing.
-Dual Magnaflow exhaust system with widened chrome tips
-ASA AR1 18" Aluminum Wheels with Hankook tires
-HR Racing springs
-Candy Apple Blue Brake Calipers
-Ultra Racing 2 Point Front Strut Brace Bar
-Custom Blue Flake Paint Job on the Engine and various parts.
-Headlights and foglights swapped to HID 8k, and headlights are painted black
-Eagle Eye Fogged LED tail lights with swapped LED Reverse Lights.
-Window Tint and OG Toyota Moonroof Visor
-Chrome lip for the trunk, debadged and a blue Jordan Jumpan Decal on back.
-Light up door Sills, and complete interior blue LED swap
-Custom Interior and trunk Blue LED lighting
-Carbon Fiber shortened shift knob
-Carbon Fiber Door Pillars
-Blue and Carbon Fiber Racing Pedals
-Fatmat Rattle trap (Dynamat type stuff but better) all over the trunk, floor, rear dash, and doors
-All four speakers swapped with Critical Mass RS69's and powered by JL Audio 450/4
-12" Fosgate punch classic powered by JL Audio 500/1 in a bandpass box
-Viper Alarm System with remote start up

Here are a few teaser pics until the real photo shoot with my friends new canon 7D.

Not bad so far, she is looking pretty :smokin:

Her name is Smokey.

Here is her first commercial:

Fatmat Rattle Trap Install on 2007 Camry SE V6

So here are a couple pics of the Rattle trap from Fatmat installation I did. This stuff is thicker than Dynamat and sounds way better and sticks way better. I did the whole trunk, the back dash, the entire floor and back seats, and all four doors.

Here is the trunk:

and here is the back seat:

Thanks man!!!

Yeah that seems to be the general consesus...get springs or get coils asap!!!

As far as the deadening goes, definitely go with the fatmat...it is 80 mil. thick, Dynamat extreme is only 70 mil., and fatmat sticks much better than dynamat. The adhesive is a peel and stick type on the back of the material, very easy to cut and handle. It is also literally half the cost of dynamat. I got 100 square feet for $160 shipped directly to me, and I still haven't used all of it. There is one down side but it is only temporary...the smell of this stuff is pretty potent and makes your car smell like tar for about a week and a half. I got my car cleaned and had them do the interior as well, then stuck a new car freshener in it, within a week and a half the smell was gone. I ordered the stuff from ebay though because there is a seller on there selling the stuff for dirt cheap. Cheaper than fatmat's own website, ha ha!

Yeah, I was wondering about the tar. Lows had some material that was basically exactly like dynamat that I used in my scion. Helped out GREAT, but the smell just jilled it for a good while, esp when its hot. My fiance is very sensitive to smells, so needless to say she was NOT a happy camper...

Yeah, keep in mind, I live in LA. CA. and I have been driving it around in hot weather for a bit now...no problems. Just the first week and a half like I said. Then you are all good, and the wife is happy:clap:

Thanks everyone!

Thanks for all the nice comments.

HA hA HA! I know, I know, the wheel gap kills me too. But I don't want to just throw some springs on there for looks, I would rather take the time, save up money, and do it right with some Tein Coilovers. Unfortunately I have dropped so much in to this already, that the coils will have to wait few months or more. In the mean time it's not that bad, I mean it's not like I can stick my whole hand between the wheel and the car, wait, oh crap, yes I can. :headbang:

I agree, lets get a meet going ASAP! I have been wanting to find some fellow camry lovers in the 818 for a long time now. Just let me know, and I will for sure, be there.

Car looks great but I'm not a fan of the blurry effect on the photos. Really detracts from the car. I agree with Punks though... Time for a drop!

I Know I know, springs and coils. Everyone up here seems so obsessed with springs and coils...ha ha! I agree though, it does need a bit of a drop.

As far as the blur in the image, it is not nearly as distracting as the ugly 1980's sentra or 1990's ford that were in the background before I blurred them out. HA HA! Besides, these were just some fun shots I took with my phone. I am waiting to do the real photo shoot with my friend when he brings over his new canon 7d. Oh yeah!

For sure, I will let you know when we are doing the shoot and see if you can make it. Should be in about a week or two. I also say we get this meet going for real, and maybe I can bring him along to take some sick shots of all the camry's!

Would love to share a beer and talk mods:chug:
