looks nice...
I also did my backup (Reverse) lights in LED too and kinda completes it :)
Unless you want to spend crazy money to swap out brake and blinkers for LED, but that gets spendy fast..

Also wondering why you went red on the door puddles?
im actually not a fan of swapping out the turn signals and reverse lights with LEDs. i feel they will never be equal to the original halogen bulb. i might get the led tail lights from ebay. but i dont think they are going to be as good as oem led tail lights.
Gotcha, Guess I got confused from your sig then LOL ;)

What did you own before the Highlander? I'm betting a Camry, based on your interest in mods. Looks like sweeney has got another partner in crime when it comes to doing mods to the Highlander.... Welcome to the world of Highlander owners!

my first car was actually the 04 rav4 thats also in my sig which i still own. and ive been on the HL thread for a long time. ive had the car since day one. i just never modded it until now because i wanted to add some flavor the car.

and i picked red puddle lights because i feel it fits there more than the white lights. i wanted to be different i guess.

and yeah i should edit my sig and say replaced all dome lights with leds in the prius. thanks.

Didn't know it was a crime now :D Sorry for not fitting into the normal demographic of HL owners

Haha! That's funny. I have a Camry and now the wife's Highlander. I just replaced all the interior lights with LEDs as well as the puddle and license plate lights. I also just installed 5K HID kit from TRS. It has the same projector as the Camry and looks pretty good. I need to open up the headlight, though, to cover up the squirrel spotters and make the cutoff a little better. I am also going to make the stock projector lens into a clear lens. This headlight is permasealed like the Camry, though, so it is going to be a PITA, but I am looking forward to the project! I believe the RX350 projector is ALMOST a direct fit into this headlamp as well, so I may consider that.
That sucks, Toyota has switched to permaseal? :headbang: My 08 still used buytl and came apart fairly easily....well thats unfortunate.

Does yours output bow in the center? It seems like a common problem with those Toyota H11 projectors. I heard it was caused by the return wire on the standard H11's being on the wrong side. I think the new Morimoto H11 XB35's moved teh return wire 180 degrees...you know anything about that?
Here's a quick pic. It is only like 5 feet from the wall so the cutoff looks a little silly. It definitely has the smiley face though which I am going to try and change. I am trying to find a different cutoff shield or I might make one.

Yeah, I do have the XB35 bulbs installed so there is no ground shadow as with the standard bulb.

oh, and yes. Permaseal! People have had to take a dremel to it to get it apart.

Those look a lot better than what I've seen with the toyota h11 bulbs. The bowing I was talking about would have been at the cutoff, looks like the XB35's solved that, thats good to know for the future.

If your going to take the time to open up a permaseal headlight, I wouldn't just patch fix it. Go for the RX350  I'm still waiting for the Mini D2S 3.0 to come out
this is the output of my prius C with stock projectors and h11 bulbs.

im running 55w ddm 4500k/4300k what ever they sell.

I have finally bought and installed an Android OEM style Radio with backup camera. The radio still has the screen protector on it so the pictures came out a little on the lower quality side.

Here are the specs of the radio:

When I changed out the dome lights for LEDs, I have originally used eBay White lights. Which as we all know, arent really white, but are white with blue tint like 6 or 8k. I replaced the vanity lights with the VLEDs 4 side firing LEDs 5k. They are bright! And as everybody knows, VLEDs has a great product and perfect color. I also used VLEDs 4 Side firing LEDs in RED for the door courtesy lights. Originally I had some ebay t10 like 13 LED towers in red. They were pretty dull and not any where near as bright as the VLEDs. I also replaced the License plate lights with new LEDs to replace the ebay t10 8k white LEDs. However, this time instead of VLEDs, I used JDM ASTAR LEDs. The JDM ASTAR LEDs, as seen in my other projects and tests, are as bright as the VLEDs counter part, but half the cost. I bought and installed some JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 5730 SMD in the plate lights, and they are also as bright as the VLEDs counterpart.

^^^^That is only the drivers side vanity light on. Look at how bright and white it is.
