got these wheels off craigslist this weekend. i emailed him as soon as i saw the wheels and price. all 4 for $80 rims w/tires but the tires need to be replaced. i'll be getting a 215/45/17 tires but don't know which brand. can anyone suggest me a good but not too pricey? anyways, i just finished 2 of the rims and will do the other 2 in a couple of days. let me know what you guys think.

btw, rims are 17x7 +40. if i put 5mm spacer on rears, do i need to roll my fender? i will lower my rear (stock right now/ front on eibach) but can't decide if i should go w/ CO or strut spring combo? does gen4 tein fit? enjoy the pics.

the final color of the wheel (forgot the color but it's like magnetic gray and no clearcoat yet)

What kind of driving do you do? I was recommended Yokohama S Drives or BF Goodrich G-Force Sports. My other friend told me that SuperAutobacs was having the sales and saw some Falken Ziex 912's for $70 a piece. Sounds like you got those wheels for a good price :thumbsup:.

yup. i hate those caps that came with it. i'll try the toyota ones from my cousins matrix.

Hmm...what kind of paint did you use for the wheels? And which primer? Might consider doing this at some point.

i use this duplicolor high performance wheel coating. i used the same color (graphite shown in pics)

Other Colors by Duplicolor in the wheel coating model:
WP100 White
WP101 Silver
WP102 Graphite
WP103 Clear
WP104 Bronze
WP105 Racing Satin Black

and for the primer, i used duplicolor sandable primer (black)

looks excellent!! - where in Cali are you? .. i might be able to help you with tires if ur in norcal.. LOL cuz fuck- almost 600 for 215/45-17 hankooks are rather expensive. When i did my rota wheels- which were like.. last month- 215/45-17 for kumho ast with 400/a/a rating was no more than 380 out the door.. soo- i honestly don't think its wise to drop almost 600 on new tires when you got the wheels for $80.. looks haul ass tho!!

I doubt it, most of their tires are sold out. First couple of days those are the first to sell out, people buy the rims and tires first.

thank you. your wheel repair/paint actually inspired me to do this. did you clear coat your rims? btw, i am in norcal (union city). it'll be awesome and much appreciated if you could hook me up with those kumho tires. :clap:

lol, sorry guys, i picked up the last set of falken 17" ziex tires at autobacs for my 07 camry se rims.

you can get them for cheap as a pair for around 200 shipped on ebay from discounttire.

Yeh i got a slow gen 3.5 4cyl automatic.
