yeah best as in just a axle and not the whole trannycould be a blown CV axle...hard to tell without hearing the noise tho

im no mechanic and i didnt know what was broken in the first place and im too afraid to break something because im a master at that and i go to school so i needed it back quick which was great because it was taken in today and was finished today so ill be getting my baby back 2morrowThat's not too bad. If you want to do it yourself you could save a couple hundred $$.
Not sure if it is cv axle. I just got my car back from the shop because of a broken water pump. I only have 45,000 miles on my 2000 camry. I had a grinding sound with my car too i also saw a huge puddle of water underneath my car. Because it was raining it would be hard to tell. Check to see if you coolant is empty.
