Well my dad made a real bad decision the other day:

He has a 06 Sienna LE, so it has 16" steelies with hubcaps. One day he found out someone stole two hubcaps from the passenger side, but he didn't mention it to me. Then he went to the dealership to buy replacements, thinking it was that necessary. I later found out that he paid $150 for TWO HUBCAPS, yes TWO. I knew it was too late to return it because it was driven in the snow and there's no way they'd take it back. Wow, I had no idea the dealership would charge that much for two!?!? I didn't look at the invoice, but I'm guessing that charged around $50 for labor and $50 each hubcap.

Jeez, worst idea ever, I never go to dealership for maintence, and he goes and pays $150 for hubcaps, Lol.

I don't think there's any labor involved.....I think that they sell the actual hubcaps for about 70bucks each

Aroung houston, they are like $65 a piece, but those 16's may be closer to $75 a piece, plus tax. They don't charge labor. Its not that your dad got ripped off...his lack of knowledge killed him. Ebay would have saved your dad a lot of mulla!

ebay is not necessarily brand new and original, could be rebuilt or aftermarket.

Its not just Toyota...all car makers charge an arm and a leg for hubcaps, mudflaps, mirrors, anything that easily breaks they will charge you. When I had my Tacoma I ripped a mud flap off (it was just a piece of rubber, not molded) and the dealer wanted $97 FOR ONE, needless to say I just "fixed" it. I'd look for a set of rims, they cost about the same as a hubcap

correct. hubcaps are NOT inexpensive when purchased from the dealership, particularly when they're "special" ones, like those that come on the Corolla S.
