For the car:
2 Door coupe or sedan. Nice styling. Rear wheel drive IRS with true AWD as an option. 6 Speed Manual trans. Legroom for someone 6'5 tall. Fully adjustable caster and camber in the front with adjustable camber and toe in the rear. Comfortable seats with good support(see old Supra). A sporty but decent riding suspension. Nice body stiffness. Front and rear sway bars. 4 wheel disc brakes with 4 piston calipers on the front and big rotors. 17 Inch wheels stock with an 18 option. Decent trunk room with fold down flat rear seats. The general amenities like A/c and power windows/locks are standard. I want a stereo delete option. Leather seats and trim an option. keep it as light as possible. I would even consider a 2 seater with only basic airbags. Now here is the kicker. Turbo Diesel engine, lets say a 2.8-3.4 V6 twin cam with around 250 bhp and 370+ft lbs torque. I am open to anything, inline 4, 5, 6 or even a V8 or V4 as long as it is Turbo-Diesel though. Set it up to see about 40 mpg highway at 75 mph and you have a winner.
Truck is easier:
Tacoma 2 door with the Access cab. Round off the fenders and wheel wells like the 01-04 Tacoma's but make the body as wide as the current model. Get rid of that nasty nose and give it better quality paint. The 6 speed is already there and the sport seats are nice. Legroom is good but an inch or so more is even better. Make full manual 4wd available in all the trim levels.
Give me the option of sport seats with a more spartan trim. Give me a stereo delete option. Give me the same diesel you are planning in the Tundra or an updated version of the one in the Hi-lux.
Do this and have 2 more winners Toyota.
I also suggest the D4-D 1.4 and 2.0 to come here in the Yaris, Corolla and Rav-4.
