Heres how the story goes ppl...hes gone...my Ej is gone...one day he was driving perfectly...then...transmission problems...which lead to my tranny staying in one gear at all times...my tranny is auto by the way but back to it...my gear stayed in one gear reved high in normal driving and maxed out on 70 MPH...well after that happend i did a tranny flush asap...well it was a hand me down from my bro...but not knowing he never ever ever did a flush to the transmission(even thoe i baught him the fluid 20K miles earlyer Thinking he knew how to do a Flush)he never did it...so when i drained it...it was milky black like oil...talk about bad...so i knew i was funged with the tranny...but i did the fluid change anyways to see if it would help...but no it didnt...so i was daily driving wid high RPMs...then here is when the bad part comes...couple of days later...KNOCKING on the motor...then 2 days after that....on my way to work...knocking gets louder Louder and LOUDER!!!CLINK CLUNK CLOUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!there goes my rods...poor D16z6...i loved that motor...but operation D16y8 is on its way...mabe thats if it does not cost to much to do a motor swap...i have the long block...need new tranny...if it cost more then 500 bucks to do whole thing im looking into something u all might be interested in??? Ae87 GTS for 750 bucks...question about it thoe...does it count as Ae86???i wouldnt think so since its an 87...so wat does it count as???jus wondering but here are the pics...the guy is only like 30 mins away from me should i get or not???

yes.. AE86 = 84-87 RWD

AE82 = 84-87 FWD
AE92 = 88-92 FWD

That car looks pretty beat up and in need of bodywork, I would suggest you make sure that the floor is not rotted out before you buy it, get on the ground and grab a flashlight if its night, then look for any bad rust or major holes on the floorboards, if there are big holes then don't bother. It also helps to "push" on the floor with your hands to make sure that the metal is not brittle already and breaks when you push it.

Thnx Ren...i really wanted it because it was RWD...but anyways...jus remembered a good friend of mine had a Y7 block laying around so i grabed that for free and my Z6 head was still good so all i needed was the tranny...so my momma who is going to be driving that around pretty soon said lets jus nab the tranny for 100 bucks so i said ok fine with me...so Ej cibic here i am again as ur owner :)
