The trucks is down now. The motor/ tranny is out....and I'm building it as we speak.
Actually I provided all the goodies to
www.blacktrax.net , I designed certain things (such as intake manifolds, exhaust and so forth). I made my own carbon fiber bits; center console, gauges, panels, shifter plates, mirror plates and so forth. Lexan window. Strip the interior. Cut the doors.....the list is long.
A huge thanks should go to the folks at
www.blacktrax.net, Jei and Aki. They're super knowledgeable, and they gave me good insights and advice.
They're helping me out A GREAT deal.
Anyway.....as you noticed from the pics. I'm staying N/A, with high compression pistons (something a lot of people have a hard time to understand).....:lol:. The truck as it is right now weights about 2100 lbs. with a full tank of gas.
I'm working on shaving some more weight to put it below 2000 lbs. but it's not easy. The engine will make roughly 300-320 hp......and I think it should be completely done around May/June.
Then the cage, then the coilovers....and I certainly will have to replace the wheels/ tires with something bigger for more traction.
