I would like as much functionality as possible.
Problem is . I don' know what I need to know.and everybody's yelling look at me, look at me.
I'd like to be ale to see real time (or close) sensor functions, spark plugs, injectors, and wtfe is needed for the care, smogging and feeding of my flock
I don't for see me buying a Camry much past a 2005 but even then I'm not likely to get burned by the yearly update.
I have Donny Dollars to spend burning a hole in my pocket.
So what's good, and where's the best place to find it?
Thanks for being here
Paul

The one I linked will connect to a tablet no problem. In fact, you could remove your radio and do a tablet install instead :D

OBDLINK has been good to me.
decided on the Obdlink MX., Found it for $75. Given that It the software fought me, the tech support is just this side of non existent., but Scantool forum, has a bunch of people willing to help
I am not excited about the OBDLink software, idea about a substitute
Thanks

The key is to use multiple applications. OBDLINK does have very good info on it and a decent forum. Otherwise I suggest using Torque Pro with it too if you wanna see some Live Data but you won't get as much data compared to OBDLINK. Even though it advertises very fast speeds, it really isn't. But for what it is worth, even using a TechStream the the data you get is still very slow or rather just as slow as OBDLINK or vice versa compared to Torque Pro. It's those advanced features that you want with the OBDLINK and and I am sure there are some features that I have not tried because I have not had a reason to try them. I've read B codes, I've read C codes, I've likely read ABS codes, these are codes you won't see with a "normal" scanner. Hopefully the OBDLINK MX works out for you. LX is decent but I have to pay to use the advanced features for other cars other than my 08 Camry but that is not a big deal to me.
