Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, hopefully someone can help me out. I have an 89 toyota 4WD pickup which had a consistently high idle, and would surge. I have pinpoited the problem to being the thermostatic idle air intake valve (cold-start), which is located on the underside of the throttle body. I currently have duct tape blocking the port in throttle body for it, but I need to replace this before winter comes (and before the duct-tape goes in the plenum, lol). Would anyone know of where I can get one relatively inexpensive? I've checked all local salvage yards and can't find anything. It's an internal unit which mounts two throttle body with two coolant lines for the switch, it's frozen in the open position. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jeff
