Hello TN!

Need help finding a 2011 Camry transmission part name by the image. My brother overseas has transmission problems with his 2011 Toyota Camry LE 2.5L. The mechanic told him the issue was with a torque converter (found the translation from russian pretty easily) and another part named in russian. I cannot find an actual part name in English. Can someone please help me identify this part in the attached image?

I believe that is what is called a "front pump".

That's the oil pump. Only one in the transmission. The first series of ATs had a second pump in the rear which made possible push-starting the vehicle.
