I've got a 97 corolla, 1.6, automatic... I want to find a turbo motor w/ a manual trans. to swap into it... Any suggestions on engines that will work with minimal mods? I've been told a 3sgte will work but reading some forums sounds like theres some pritty heavy mods. that have to be made to fit... also told 4agze will work but it comes with a supercharger not a turbo... im lookin to get somethin that comes w/ a turbo that i can rebuild n replace any bad parts, that will be an easy fit

buy an evo, you sound like you know squat about cars. buy something that comes with a turbo from the factory and is fast from the start.
