Need Help Programming The Remote Key.

I'm not sure if anyone here can help, but I might as well give it a shot. I bought a remote key for my 2002 Toyota Celica because the one I have broke. I got programming instructions off www.programyourremote.com but they don't seem to work (or maybe I'm just not doing something right). I tried searching the forum but didn't find exactly what I needed, can anyone here help me?

Thanks.

I can see it's a complicated process to get the car into programming mode, as it should be for security. Follow the directions (line for line) until the door locks cycle, then use the key remote to complete the programming. Toggling the key ignition and door switches in the right order should get the factory alarm into programming mode to accept a new key remote's frequency.

Also if there is a delay on the interior lights wait for them to go out before moving to the next step when opening and closing the door.
Thanks for the tips. I'll try that. I've been having trouble getting the car into the program mode. I also found out that the remote I bought off ebay doesn't the the right FCC ID. *sigh*
