Need Mechanic in Atlanta area

I did a search, but didn't really find anything. Any recommendations for a good mechanic for my 1996 Toyota Camry in the Atlanta/Smyrna/Cobb Co. area? thanks.

Post it here if you find anything. I'm near Va-Hi but I still take my car to Sandy Springs for service.

And by all means, STAY AWAY from the Tires Plus in Buckhead.

mike,

I ended up taking my camry to this place:

Auto Test Diagnostics & Oil Change
(770) 426-5167

They're in Marietta off of fairbanks. This guys works on just about everything. I obviously only have this 1 experience with him, but he did a good job for me. Basically, in the course of changing my fuel filter, I bent the fuel line. I didn't have time to fix it, so I decided to take it to him. If I'd taken it to the dealer, they would have likely charged to replace the entire fuel line (i.e. $$$$), but he simply spliced a new piece of line in and installed a new filter. so far, no leaks and the price was reasonable ($112 or so). don't expect a fancy shop. He was actually recommended to me by the european parts place across the street (who recommended him to do work on my bmw). hope this helps.

honest toyota mechanic in Atlanta

Give David Coile a call. He has been a great help to me over the eight years I have been driving my Camry (260K). He has a Quicklube down in Locust Grove, and has been around Toyotas for a long time, and seems to always have an answer for me when my Camry is not so happy. His # is 770-288-2990.
