Need pics of Gen3 hood gas strut.

I'm trying to convert my Gen4's prop rod to a pair of gas struts.
I've found the struts at the local car place, with all the little hinges N such.
What I need is some pics of a gen3's hood around where the struts mount so I can tell what's needed on the car's end of things.
Maybe a few pics, an overall shot so I can get an idea of distances, then a couple of closeups of the mount points for each end on the hood and body.

The Gen4.5 has gas hood struts. I would recommend refferencing those as they would be more accurate for your car than the Gen3. Perhaps you can find one at a junkyard or check out your local dealer. I'll try to take some pic of my relative's '00 Camry to show you if I get the chance this weekend.

try going to autozone or something and picking up a set for the gen 4.5, Im sure you could make it work pretty easily. I just bought replacements for my gen 3 struts from autozone and I think it was like $35.

edit i just reread the first post, sorry that doesnt hel a whole lot

i dont think i have any pics with the strut visable but ill check what i have for you
