My brother changed duty stations to San Diego and is looking for a good dealership that he can have the leaf spring TSB done on his 07 Tacoma 4x4 EC. He's trying to get things sorted before he deploys. He talked with one dealership and got a ration. I can't recall the name of it though. He is also looking for a good shop that will install the 5100's when he gets them from Downsouth. Any advice or help would be great. He lives near the strand area of San Diego.
Thanks, Ben

I hope somebody from the San Diego area will come in and help you out soon, but until then: it's "Toyotanation" and "Downsouth". That was kinda funny, and I could not resist pointing it out.

Sorry I can't help with your ???, but I'm sure somebody else will be here shortly.
Yeah, I realize it's toyota nation but since I only deal with the Tacoma thread and the people I'm seeking help from are here then I played the words. The other was just a brain fart and lack of sleep. Downsouth is a great business and I will edit the original post.

Don't worry about it he's just playing with ya!
Hey since your Bro is in the service? They have access to a "Hobby Shop" That's where I did my lift! Really easy. The hobby shop should have everything you'd need!
I had a very good experience getting the TSB suspension upgrade on my 06' dbl cab. I took it to the dealer where I bought the truck, its called Bob Baker Toyota in San Diego, its like 10 or 15 minutes from the strand. I mentioned that the truck was way to soft when towing my trailer or when a load in the bed, I mentioned that I heard a TSB was out on it, they checked the truck and ordered the parts. About 2 weeks later they had the parts in and wa-la I had completely new suspension front and rear. The truck is so much better now, it was a huge improvement. Tell your brother to ask for Anthony, he is the service rep. I had, and he hooked me up.
Roatan4us,
Thanks for the quick reply. I'll get the info to him today. Just what he needed. Any idea on a good local shop to do the 5100's? I guess maybe the dealer, but I hear that a lot of them don't like to do modifications(or charge way too much).

Toku,
I hear ya on the the good'ol Hobby Shop. I remember those days myself. Unfortunately, with the stuff he's doing I don't think he's going to have the time to get dirty.

Thanks Again, Ben
