So can anyone help me as to where I can zip tie the ballast on to the engine bay area, also do I need to tape up the prongs that are connected or can I just leave it open. Thanks for your help in advance.

Heavy duty Velcro / 3M Duolock is your friend. There are a lot of flat near the lights that make mounting the ballasts a snap.
