At times I need to push the shifter forward to get the car to crank.. SOO

Where and how do I adjust the neutral switch on a 1991 cressida ????

It looks like you need to be under the car ....I opened the shifter on the inside of the car and didn't see it ....

you do have to go under the car. on the right side of the trans there's a thing that looks like a 1/4 circle with a little rod coming out of it that connects to another rod going toward the back of the car that connects to another rod that goes up through the floor. the last one is your shifter and where it joins the horizontal rod is where you adjust it.
