I just bought a brand new 2010 Rav4 and was rather bummed to find it leaking gear oil immediately in my garage the next day. Took it to the dealer and they said the passenger front axle seal is leaking differential oil. Any ideas what could cause this? Should i be concerned someone test drove the vehicle and really messed it up? Just upgraded my 93 Paseo to this car and now I'm possibly regretting it...

I wouldn't be concerned at all. How many miles are on the vehicle? I am guessing it should be covered under the factory warranty.

Thanks. Yes, it's covered under the warranty but i was just surprised since the car only had 100 miles on it.

I would just chaulk it up to "one of those things) and not worry to much about it.
