Hey guys, I am just about to buy a new car and it so happens that it is an 8th gen corolla. I want to know if what someone else told me is true.
Is it true that 7th and 9th gen parts are compatible with the 8th gen? (the person told me that I might be able to snag suspension/coilover kits or strut/sway bars from these categories as well). I just want to know that since I found myself with a very limited range of parts and I just want to have fun with this car.
Keep in mind that I am in europe.
Thanks in advance to whoever helps me!
Have a good one!

Suspension struts will interchange with 6th, 7th and 8th-gen only. The 9th-gen has completely different suspension.

Even so, options are limited. Most coilovers are crap with too-stiff spring-rates and dampers with poor adjustability.

Best option is custom-built coilovers made by Ground Control using Koni double adjustsble. This is key feature allowing you to adjust compression and rebound damping independently from each other. Most times, in order to tune suspension optimally, you have to change those in opposite directions. More compression and less rebound or less compression and more rebound.
