When I first bought my truck, it had the TRD exhaust on it. I loved it, but it wasn't loud enough for me. So I went and had a Flowmaster 40 series put on. One pipe in, one pipe out. Dumped right before the rear axle.

Heres the side view:

And from underneath:

It doesn't stick out that much further than the frame, so it shouldn't be a problem while wheeling. Especially in 2 or 3 months when the new lift kit comes in.

Cool! I think it would look sweeter sans the tip and just a 45 or 90 off the muffler not showing at all. Either way it looks loud as hell is it? I'm not usually a fan of the way a flowmaster sounds on a V6 but it's got to be nice.

The guy who put it on has never put a chrome tip on a setup like that, which I thought was kinda weird. But I like the little chrome sticking down when you look from the side :smokin:

As for the loudness, its only been on 24 hours, so the tone is still changing a bit, but its actually not really that loud. A tab bit louder than the TRD. From 1.5-2.5k rpm is when you hear it the most, open throttle, I can barely hear it.

Weren't you where gonna sell your Taco?

I'm glad that things worked out for you and that you where able to keep it.
Yeah, but my dad ended up getting a new truck instead. He wanted me to get a bigger truck to tow the wakeboarding boat with. But since I paid for the truck myself, he couldn't really force me into it.

Congrats on the new exhaust. I have the same setup with a Magnaflow (minus the chrome tip), and I like the clearance I get when I offroad... and I think it sounds better anyways.

Total cost was $180 which included the muffler, tip, piping, and a new flange.

I'm not sure on the model number. I have to do some work under the truck tomorrow, so I will try and find out for you.
