New Foglight bulbs installed (pics) *updated*

Here are the pics of my new PIAA super plasma bulbs installed and turned on.

Night time pics

I couldn't get the camera settings right for the full frontal pic, so the headlight look yellow also. I have silverstars in for the headights.

I think the total was around 65$ shipped, from Hong Kong. I got them off of ebay.
How about some night-time pics to compare them to the headlights? :)
Awesome. I bought the same bulbs. HB Plasma Ion. Unfortunately, I don't have foglights yet. :sosad:

Hopefully early spring I will install them. Nice pic. Now I know what they are going to look like.
The PIAA foglight bulbs come with two different sets of O-rings. Be sure to use the smaller set, which are orange colored, I think.

Wow! That first night-time pic really shows the difference in light color! I like that a lot. What bulbs are they exactly?

You said 'Super Plasma' in your first post. You are getting two different bulb colors mixed together. Your bulbs look like they are puting out a yellow color, so I would say that they are Ion Crystal.

Super Plasma have a white/purple color.

Ion Crystal have a yellow (fog light) color.

Here are the different PIAA colors. http://www.piaa.com/Bulbs/BulbsAbout.html

Looks good though.

That's what was confusing me, too.

I really like that. I had no idea those bulbs were that yellow. :naughty:
No, I ordered them off of eBay too. They are Plasma Ion HB's. I don't think they carry them here in the states. Check out the PIAA UK page.

I don't think the Ion Crystal bulbs are as yellow as these.

They are pretty sweet looking. I only found them for sale from that one seller on eBay. He shipped out of Hong Kong. I went to leave feedback and he is no longer a registered member.

Plasma ion is what you need to search for on ebay.

Yeah, I did the same thing and he up and vanished... the weird part was he had a 100% feedback rating. I am glad I got my bulbs...I got a little worried myself when that happened.
the fogs should be 9145/h10 bulbs 45/55 watts.

9005 bulbs are single filament for high beam applications 65watt rating, they will get hotter and may melt things arround them. they will draw more current....

i found and use nokya brand h10 hyper yellow, i think the pair cost about $30.- nokya part# nok7626

you can use what you want, and get almost anything to fit, but sometimes you get meltdown.....

That may be true and all but these PIAA HB'S are rated at 55W. See pic of packaging. Thanks for your concern.
