New front pads in on my V6 Gen. 4:

It was very easy, and I honestly don't think you can 'mess up' on anything. Just buy the Hayes book and it tells you step by step.

I used Raysbestos ceramic pads ($60 for the fronts) and they seem to be just fine.

HOWEVER: while the braking preformance is fine (same as before), the pedel seems to be a bit spongier, but not in a bad way. It feels like I need to press farther to brake, but when I get to that point, it is very linear and they bite just fine. Any ideas?

Damn, what a nice car to work on!
