Hi All! I just brought home a brand new '05 Tacoma yesterday. I got a good deal on the last 05 I found in my area. I got the SR5, Access Cab, V6, 6 Speed, 4WD in Silver.

Stepping up from a Ford Ranger, I am very impressed with this truck. It seems to have good handling and power. The interior is super nice, and the exterior is great!

I am not a huge off roader but I am looking forward to hitting some off road and having some fun in the St. Louis winter. (If we get some decent snow!)

I look forward to doing some work on this beast! I am glad I found this forum...I have a lot of reading to do!

I bought a "used" 05 access cab Tacoma with 2300 miles on it. I've had two Dodge Dakotas that had numerious problems. I'll never buy another Chrysler product.

So far I pleased with my Tacoma. I like the size and the styling. the truck feels solid. I'm know that I won't be having near the same problems with the Tacoma that I had with the Dakotas.

Ha!

After my ranger, the tacoma really does feel great. I told my boss that I bought a truck and he asked what kind. I told him...then he said..."oh not a real truck though." Well let's just say I took him outside to show him my "truck" and he was very impressed.

I love this thing! I am installing a interface for my iPod tonight. I took the stereo out last night to see how hard it was going to be...not bad at all.

I want to get into a MagnaFlow of Flowmaster for a better sound. Muffler only...I am on a budget with this new beast!

Hey a St. Loui man, about time not many of us on here. If you ever find a good place to off road you'll have to let me know, St. Louis area seems to be pretty limited. There's St. Joe park down south a little but they only have the "Sand Flats" for Trucks to play in unless they open up the Mark Twain forest for us....will know 2006 I think.

Anyways if you see me driving (D-Cab Silver TRD-OR 4x4) you have to check out my gauge pods I fabbed up for the tacoma.

I you could say "downgraded" from a Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 Fully loaded. It had every option very nice. Too many problems. I thought I did a huge downgrade to getting a pickup with no leather or sunroof or anything like that. In the end I made the biggest upgrade ever. A marvelous truck with no regrets!!!!

It all started when I went to Hawaii for my senior trip. I saw LOTS of Tacomas. New and old. I started JOCKIN' them from then. As soon as I got back I copped one.
