hi all im new to the crew. just recently purchased a 2006 tacoma double cab sport. and so far just a lift and tires. i have been lurking alot on the forum learning a whole bunch from all you guys and gals (well the 1% of them on here:lol:) and figured i would post up some pics of the old gal.

bfg 285 r17s they say they dont fit with a lift but they do they just rub on the upper control arms. i know alot of people say not to get the wheel spacers but i bought some from all pro and they work perfectly

beech creek PA huh? I was in NW PA the past weekend. I rode my 4 wheeler @ Sproul State Forest and Majestic Trails. A buddy of mine has a cabin in Potter Co.

Nice truck BTW, maybe we'll run into each other sometime, I plan to go back in the spring.

Good looking truck! Love the underhood job. How did you prep it and what paint did you use?

thanks guys for the feed back guys.

steelcity: just clean it really REALLY good. and paint it haha i had to use special adhesive primer before i did it. covering the symbol and vvti takes a while with tape and exacto knife. oh and clear coat the stickers in cause then they wont ever come off:clap:.

jesse: thats sweet dude. have you every rid in the bloody skillet trails in orvinston? thats were we ride at mostly cause i can reach them from my camp.what kind of quad you ride? hope to bump into you out there i can take you to some sweet wheelin spot.

I'm not sure what the name of the trail system we entered was. It was extremely close to Orviston where we unloaded. I ride a 400ex

yea yea, time to maybe think of different colors. haha, it always seems like right before im gonna do something, like a day or two before everything is planned out, someone else rolls around town with it already done. btw, did u use factory matched paint? cuz I got some from online.
(learned how to use the quote thinger:naughty:)
yeah i have a garage so i got the paint code for speedway blue and just made my own paint. alot cheaper. haha. i was thinking about painting it orange so if you want you can steal that idea from me:D

I live in Mohnton, which is about 10 minutes outside of Reading.
