Hi everyone,

I'm new to the Toyota Highlander world. Just purchased a white 2012 base a few months ago and have a few questions. I tried searching to no avail.

1. Where can I pick up color matched mud guards?
2. Any recommendations for replacement antennas? The one it comes with is very long and annoying. I've seen some 3" carbon fiber ones on ebay but did not know if they were good or not - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-3-76...|Model:Highlander&hash=item2a1b92e010&vxp=mtr
3. The base model did not come with fog lights, running boards, or roof rails. Any recommendations for aftermarket parts? The OEM are quite expensive.
4. Do parts from 2008-2011 fit the 2012 model?

And just for fun - this is my current ride...

Congrats on the new HL and :welcome: to Toyota Nation!
wow from that subaru to a HL, thats a definite change in terms of performance

I'm assuming you have a 2012?
1) For the 08-10, I always saw color match-able mud guards, but the places I saw who carried the 08 ones do not carry them for the 2011+ models. Your best bet might be to get a regular set of mud guards, take it to a body shop, and see if they can color match it.
2) carbon fiber antenna.....that just seems like it wouldn't get good reception, but all the car's I've had (besides an old jeep) have had antenna's integrated into the glass, so I can't really help there.
3) A good place to look for parts is CarID. Its a good place to find parts/figure out ideas on things to do. Then google the part you find and see if you can buy it elsewhere for cheaper. Or you could check out ebay, just remember, you get what you pay for. The really cheap ebay stuff is usually garbage from what I've seen. Though having said that, the more "reasonably" priced stuff on ebay is usually higher quality stuff.
4) depends on the part. The 2011 is the same model as the 2012 so they should all fit eachother. The 08-10 though are before the exterior change, some interior parts might fit, but most exterior ones probably won't.

sweeneyp - Yes, I have a 2012. Thanks for the suggestions. I am not used to having so little aftermarket support, unlike the subaru community. I will definitely check out CarID. Thanks for your help.
