No, gas octane rating may be a possibility? We've had our Hybrid for two months now and no issues. (1800 miles) Gas mileage is lower than expected but its been really cold here in the upper Midwest USA.

Just joining this forum after a lot of searching through online. I'm based in Australia and few months ago bought my Ascent Sport Hybrid Sedan Corolla 1.8 that i'm thoroughly enjoying. However, i've noticed a slight clicking/knocking sound when the engine first switches from electric to petrol - this only happens when the engine is cold and the temp gauge shows lower temp as well. Once its warm, the sound goes away.....Anyone else noticed this?
