new tranny

I might be getting a 91-94 'cel coupe and found out that they have a 4-spd and I can't live with that. I wanted to know, what FWD trannies can replace the stock tranny?

WHAT!! the 4-speed manual is awesome and takes abuse! Put it this way, drive the 4-speed, and compare it to the 5-speed manual in the paseo. i choose 4-speed.

i believe the 5-speed bolts to that trans though, don't sell out, you'll love the 4-speed.-andy

Get a 5 speed, I have a 5 speed in my Tercel and wont go back to a 4. Search some of the threads on To.com for specifics, you wont be dissapointed.
