I didn't see any posts about this, and we won't get it, but I figured it was my duty to post the pictures of the new Yaris. Too bad we won't get it, as the hybrid is supposed to get 20% better MPG than the existing one (Prius C). I would like to see normal trims without the two tone roof, but...
I think the rear doors/rear end could maybe have a slightly better design to it but I think it is something I could get used to. She doesn't look to bad and I would be willing to get one.
The Toyota GR Yaris has been caught camo-free a month before it's official debut. The aggressive body and dual exhaust denote it's the hot hatch version.
Surprised they went with a 3-cylinder, wonder if it's going to be a slightly bored/stroked version of the M15A (itself basically 3/4s of the Corolla's M20A) or another completely different one (all of Toyota's previous 3-cylinders have only been around the 1.0L mark, destined for Daihatsu), and it isn't a homologation-type deal since the WRC Yaris uses a 4-cylinder, not a 3 (still 1.6L though)
While Americans have only been teased with the promise of the hot new 2020 Toyota GR Yaris, Europe can actually buy it—and at nearly $39,000, it’s going to cost a pretty penny.
