I'm new to this forum and I'm actually not a toyota owner. My g/f owns a 93 Toyota Camry 4cyl.
The power window on the front driver side stopped working one day. The wiring is not the problem because I can open all the other windows and when I use the switch to open the driverside window I can hear the motor.
After taking some time to get the door panel off what I suspected was true. The motor itself works but the motor case is cracked on the top. And I mean a big chunk not a small chip.
The spindle that winds up the wires can easily come off.
Does anyone have a picture of what the entire motor s supposed to look like? Do I need to get an all new motor because of this crack?
