Hello from the Florida Keys,

My name is Rock Trueblood. I am a DJ/Emcee in Key West.

I just inherited a 1996 Toyota Camry from my girlfriend. The car has many problems which I aim to repair on my own.

First and foremost is the problem with the driver side window. The window motor no longer works. It is dead. So it needs replacing.

I am hoping to find some instructions here on how to replace a dead window motor in a 1996 Toyota Camry.

Wish me luck.

Well, you're in luck, Rock. We have a very extensive Gen 3 & 4 Camry forum with lots of info in the sticky threads and many members there who can help out with any issues. Any questions about the forums just ask.

Thank you, Trail Dust

Thank you Trail Dust. I think I found the thread which will help me most. I asked one or two questions and hope to hear from those members who have made this particular window repair in their past. Thank you
