Greetings all,
First, I should introduce myself. My name is Mark and I live in Severn, MD (moving to Mt. Airy soon). I own a 1987 MR2 that is in the beginning stages of a total rebuild. I have alot of ideas for this car (and the $$ luckily).
The first thing I need to do is get it past MD inspection. I know of a few problems with it, so I need to find a good shop in MD that can work on it for me and get it to pass inspection. I know I could take it to any old shop and get it running, but I want a shop that knows performance parts well. Why spend $100 to replace a stock part with another stock, when I could spend $150 to put a performance part in in the first place?
So if anyone could point me to a good repair/performance shop in Maryland, I would really appreciate it. I'm looking to find something around the southern Baltimore area or up towards Frederick near where I'm moving next month.
oh, I'm 35 and my kids love that I'm "pimpin my ride".
