First time to use this forum, but a Toyota buyer since the late 80's. Found this site looking for answer to a problem I have with my 2001 Sienna. The name I use "Cajun 2 Wheels" is derived from a Segway rental business that I had. I an old coot nearing 65 but fairly good shape and still working.
The problem I have is a leak that soaked the carpet on the front passenger side. After vacuuming and hosing down the van with no results, I pulled up the carpet and finally found that the leak was coming from the heater under the front seat. Now all I have to do is purchase the heater core and install. Any one here had this done or did it?? Would appreciate any advice from the forum. In return I'll let all know how hard or easy it was.
Ok see ya'll on line.

Sincerely, :naughty:

Sorry about that, I will shout with anyone as the time permits. I am now working on changing my heater core for my van which is under the front passenger seat. The part will be in on Monday. Do you know anyone who has done this particular repair?
Here is a shot in the dark, so to speak: If your vehicle was made in the US there is a good chance you can acquire a repair manual which hopefully would walk you through removal/installation procedure -- (apparently you have already used Google).

[no such luck in my case as my car was made in Brazil -- seems like pulling teeth trying to get a repair manual for it]
