I found these pics in a google cache from an old craigslist listing. I couldn't find any info on the truck, lift, tires, or rims but it's nice to look at anyway...

I'm not a fan of the color of this truck, but suspension and tires it looks about like what I'm shooting for...

If I had to guess, I'd say 3" bl and 4" suspension on 35x14.50 boggers...

Btw subliminaltrips, here's the link to the wheel/tire site AI was telling you about:

I was thinking the same thing...

Procomp makes a rim that looks like that too, but I'd have to see the rear centers to be sure what they are.

I am actually looking at either MT Classic 2's or possibly the classic locks. I think those look awesome in person.

A supra engine would surely finish off my truck just right... It must be nice to have the resources and ability to do that.

And that red truck is a thing of beauty for sure.

overrdrive, it's really not as difficult for us 22re owners as you think. get a 7M (ge or gte, whichever you want, N/A or turbo), 5m motormounts for the block side, a w58 transmission bellhousing from a N/A supra (86.5-92) or the 5m bells work too, and it'll drop right in and line up with everything. the w58 bellhousing will bolt right up to the w56.

get a wiring harness and ECU for the motor, then splice 5-6 wires into the body harness, and that's pretty much it. :)

it's a bit more difficult for the v6 guys, as no bellhousing directly bolts to the r150/1f and the 7m.

and i agree, a 7m would finish off your truck beautifully. when i get around to the project, i'll be sure to take lots of pics and a walk through. you should check out www.supracharged.com too.

as for resources and availability, i can help you get any mk3 supra part you need. i own/build my supra, and am an active member of several supra related forums, two of which i moderate. :)

Excuse me for being so lazy and not finding the answers myself, but how much hp are those NA versions putting out?

I've never fooled with a turbo before so I probably wouldn't do one, but an NA is a possibility...

And what years and models were they used in?

The last little car show I was at, the owner of this truck and I believe the managers of the establishment that it was being held at...got into something. They had to the police there and ish over whatever it was. The truck is really clean though, has a nice bed setup too.

haha, no problem.

the 7M motors were available in 86.5-92 supras. (the GTE didn't appear until '87).

7MGE- 200hp/ 185ft lbs tq
7MGTE- 232hp/ 254ft lbs tq (with an intake, exhaust, and 14psi= about 300rwhp on a healty engine)

a 7MGE would be plenty sufficient.

good call on staying N/A. (for now, at least) you don't want your maiden voyage with a turbo to be in a non-project car. (something like a DD).

the only reason i'm going with the 7MGTE is because i know too much about them for my own good. ;)

(you could also get a 7MGE from a cressida, but they have a front-sump oiling system, which would definately interfere with the front differential)
