i didnt think you camry looks like a nissan

i personally dont like nissans.. i just replaced a few gaskets from a maxima (i think) and it was a Bitch to get the intake manifold off.. it was like a two-part intake manifold or something.... nice looking cars / proform.. but i rather stick with toyota..

maby he means ka24"E". ive never herd of a ka24a. thats a motor that nissan uses in all sorts of stuff. from their pickup to the 240SX. 2.4L sohc I4. the sister engine is the ka24DE, that one was in the 01 altimas. ive herd of ppl swaping that motor into maximas cuz of the large aftermarket following. kinda like the 3sgte on camrys. it would be under powering on any maxima unless it was boosted though. personally, the only maxima i like was the 02 SE 3.5 6 speed. sounds like a good deal if ur willing to go down that road. any specific reason hes selling it?

personally ive tried to steer clear of cars people have modded. most people mod cars so they can go faster which means they drive them harder. both my camrys have been driven by old folks who never even used the pwr button or drove fast. however from his list of mods, the only big mod is the clutch which is good to have. all and all i say it sounds pretty good, somthin that already been started. but ull have to test drive it and see what this guy is like. u can tell alot about a car by paying attention to its driver and how they act.

That's not clean, that's plain ugly - enough so I can say so without looking at it

I have a 1998 Altima, same body style. The KA24DE won't let you down. But rust is a major thing to look out for on these cars - have a look especially on the rear doors just above the door handles at the window seals.

And why is this selling for $3200? Too good to be true. I also have a headache just from deciphering this thread. :ugh3:

they're good cars. at least from what ive seen. a guy at work has one with 140K on it and hes only replaced a timing chain. not a fan of the tvs though. anything that adds uneeded weight and distracts me when im in the zone:rolleyes: .

pick the model and check out the buyer reviews. that'll tell ya what everyone else thinks of it.
