Hey guys Im new to toyotanation and I have an 81 toyota 4x4 I have no clue as to where to start on this one I have no power going to the ingnition switch or the harness that runs up the steering shaft and half the fuse block is dead the only thing that works are the lights the only thing I did was unhook the cluster of wires behind the tach gauge when I moved the instrament cluster out of my way is there a relay or fuses somewhere I need to check

Sounds like one of the fuseable links, located in the fuse box under the hood.

Found out what it was I have 2 wires from the positive terminal one going to the starter and the other that goes from one main then splits into 2 one of those wires was bad
