Ok trying to get my new truck running. its a 89 4x4 v6 Its getting fuel just no spark. When I have the key turned before I crank it, the check engine light DOES NOT come on, everything lights up like normal though.


It turns over fine just wont fire, Ive pulled the fuel line off to make sure its getting fuel.

Any ideas of what could be going on would be greatly appreciated!

Google for the toyota pickup factory service manual and check your ECM. It might be bad. Or the bulb in the dash might be bad...

You might want to start by making sure you have +12V at the coil and ignitor.
