My 2002 Solara SE V6 manual transmission has recently been making a strange noise in very specific circumstances. When I turn left (say into a parking spot) at low speed, as I apply the brake just before the car stops I get a "eeeer" or "heeeer" sound from the front right brake area. The noise is only in this circumstance, no other noise is present when driving straight, turning right, or applying the brakes in any other situation. The real kicker is that it doesn't do it every time, maybe 3-4 times per week. I tried taking the car to a shop but the mechanic wasn't able to reproduce the noise. I did have some "creaking" noises, and he found a bolt on the control arm was loose. The fixed the creaking, but I still have this turning left with brake applied noise and I'm not sure what it could be. Wheel bearing maybe? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
