If you are looking for a no nonsense one that reads and deletes codes, the 120-150 buck ones at any autoparts store should work. Make sure they intrepret the codes for you instead of just spitting out p0xxx numbers for you to try to interpret from a manual .... more convenient. I think mine is litterally branded: "ScanTool" -- got it from AZ few years ago.

I have a scanguage2 also and among it's features it is able to read CEL codes and erase them. But it only gives the codes, it doesn't give you intrepretation.

Just look it up with the FSM, or the generic lists available on the net.
