Lol. Yeah it doesn’t look much but they remind me of turbo wheels in the 80’s. They’re not for everyone.

I like the rally look even though this Method MR502 rim wouldn’t have that “turbo” effect to draw air in to cool the brakes. Besides, I’ve got drum brakes in the rear so I wouldn’t really want open rims to display them.
I like the white wheels more. Similar in style but different enough from the black wheels. The picture of the white wheels has a better design.

I'm pretty stoked on them. I may have been a bit aggressive with the rubber though... lets just say the rear fenders self-clearanced the tires real nice.
Yeah, these tires tend to overpower stock damping rates during cornering. I think I might actually invest in some sway bars and a strut bar at this point. How do the Teins hold up? Having Eibach springs just aren't stiff enough for the BFG Comp2 AS

The Teins ride like you would expect coilovers to ride. Compared to other Tein equipped cars I have driven, the Street Basis Zs are softer though.

I don't mind the ride, but it is not for everyone.

somebody know of any pics of an 11th gen lowered on 19s. the few pics ive managed to find online were ugly wheels and stock height or barely lowered. sr06 18s are backordered but theyl let me have 19s for same price since i already placed my order.

I will be installing the Tein Coilovers around Christmas but does anyone know what size spacer I need to line up the stock 17in S Wheels with the fender?

I did the Teins on my car and at the same time did the wheels. My new wheels are 17x9 +38 so basically 1" more inset, and poke.

Honestly, they fit great... but there was a bit of rubbing in the back. Nothing a fender roller couldn't fix.

Spacer wise, I think if you go with a 20mm it will be pretty damn good. You are probably going to have to install longer studs though. I dont know if they make a 20mm bolt on spacer.

For all of you Corolla iM owners out there.

I've finally figured out a wheel to get but I was wondering what everyone thought about offset. I'm getting a 17x8 wheel but should I get +45mm offset or +35mm offset?

The 45mm offset will protrude 18mm more than the stock alloy wheels. The 35mm offset will protrude an additional 28mm. I'm worried that the 35mm offset will stick out past the fender.

What are some thoughts?

+38 or +42 will work better.

It's not lowered?

This is why I was hoping to see some pics from iM owners on what they had. Many of the wheels I like don't come in the +40mm offset area. That can also make a difference depending on wheel width. The +45mm offset moves the outer edge of the wheel 18mm. The +35mm offset moves it out 28mm from OEM.

Yeah, I have been on the fence for a while myself. The matrix is stock at +36 with a 7" wide wheel. On my Corolla, it's +42 also 7" wide.

Wouldn't mind going taller and wider, but won't go for it until, I find a trd set for cheap or find something I like affordable. In the southwest, they will steal the wheels if it's on the street and I don't want to make myself a target.
