Hi Guys! Joined a few months ago. Just now getting a photo of Ava, my 2016 Parisian Night Pearl XLE Plus as seen at the dealers a week before I brought her home. Now has a little more than 6K miles and spending the bad weather in her garage.

New to the forum but not new to Toys, many in the past '85 SR5 Xtracab pickup, '89 SR5 4Runner, '88 Celica, '96 4Runner Limited, '99 Celica, '01 Celica, '01 Corolla and now introducing my 2016 Avalon Limited in Parisian Midnight Pearl. This replaces my 2011 Cadillac CTS that got totaled. I missed the reliability of Toyota so came back to the make after being away for a few cars. Hope the Limited doesn't disappoint.

Same color as my Plus but I have the almond leather interior.
Did you get the pin stripe put on or did it come with that? I will be getting the factory windows tinted once the weather warms up.

Thanks, forum already helping me out. I will try to return the favor.. Came with the pinstripe, color combo is silver and gold. Really nice combo. The Parisian Midnight was the color I wanted, had to look all over for it before I found the right car in OH. The gray interior wasn't first choice since I'm worried about it showing dirt. If I was ordering the vehicle I'd have chosen black but the gray is definately better than the almond for me. I'd like to get window tinting but my state and local 50 are strict about the 35% tinting. My wife got at ticket and had to have hers removed.

I updated my last reply about my interior color. I've got the Almond but would have taken the gray over the black or white also.

Hi Everyone, glad to have found the group. I have a 2015 Avalon XLE Sport Touring. I’ve had it for 2 years. I had a Lexus Ls460 before, and a member of Club Lexus. Been doing a few mods and will post as i progress.

Hey everyone, really happy to see there's a tech forum for these Avalons. I just picked up a white 2014 XLE Premium used with 127k miles on it. I know it's quite a lot as the PO averaged about 22k/year, but this is simply a commuter vehicle for me since I drive about 1.5hrs for work everyday. Funny coincidence - I just so happen to also own a 2014 Land Cruiser 200 series and it has the exact same Blizzard Pearl paint I'm also not new to Toyota's as I own a 2000 Land Cruiser 100 series, 2007 Solara, 2015 4Runner, and the previously mentioned 2014 Land Cruiser 200 series. Will post a pic later!

54 yr old in Washington DC. 2017 XLE with 47k. have had for a month. 3rd owner after rental and 1 PO. I have had installed new Bridgestone quietrack tires, illuminated door sills, and LED hi and low beam headlights. This will be my retirement car in a few years probably in Hampton Roads or North Carolina.

This Forum has been fantastic for research and ideas.

Hello everyone, by chance just purchased a 2016 Avalon...pretty loaded, low miles (50,500). Was looking for a Lexus GS350, I’m coming off a Lexus LS460. Took a look at this thing and I was blown away. Thing drives at least as well as my 460 (seats aren’t as comfortable, but it’s got other things I like better than my 460).

Looking forward to learning a few things about the Avalon.

Hello everyone, my name is Mike, I just bought a '13 Limited, black on black w/ tech package. I've wanted a "big body" for a couple years now, I have 2 sons aged <2 and 11 and as of January, I no longer commute for work (so I sold my scion xa after having it since 2018), (we also have a 7 passenger Honda Pilot)

I'm taking the avalon up to NH soon (round trip), so it is in for it's first real road test with me. So far, I have no buyer's remorse and I feel blessed to have made such an upgrade.

I'm originally a huge German car junkie, I've owned vr6 jettas, turbo passats, a couple audis, several suzuki/honda/kawi motorcycles, and a couple trucks, hell I even picked up a supercharged buick park ave from GA, which I had for a year before someone hit and run / totaled it.

I came to this forum first and read tons of stuff before actually buying the car, I've been reading and learning a lot from this forum and I look forward to contributing and continued learning!

New ToyotaNation member with 2013 TAH Limited. Not my first Toyota; my wife and I had a '97 Camry that served us well for 6 years and 120k until I traded it at 263k a few years back. First vehicle in a while I've been excited about. Looking forward to a long time with this Avalon. Very pleased to be back in a Toyota.

My first Toyota and I'm no spring chicken. 2013 Limited Attitude Black Canadian version w/premium package. 172K KM... so under 108K Miles. Made in the same plant in KY just some minor differences and only 2 trim versions XLE and Limited were made for Canada, Limited had the premium package available as a factory option. The radar cruise is SO COOL!

The BSM system is not working on mine + the Lights on the gear shifter are not illuminating at night + Driver side courtesy light is also not working... to top it off, i am having some squeaky noise coming from the Engine bay when I put the car in reverse gear... potentially a pulley or the serpentine belt?
